A Winter Desert Garden

Who says you can't have a garden in the desert?! Chris's tomatoes and my herbs and veggies are prolific and tasty! Not too bad for our first go at it in Dubai. And few insects to contend with makes it all the easier to grow organically. Now if we can figure out how to grow veggies in the heat of the summer, we could have fresh produce all year long! Might end up with sun-dried tomatoes on-the-vine!

  1. Jennifer, I'm so happy to have found your blog on Lori C's site. We have heard of your family and seen a few pictures from Terri F. It has been wonderful to look over your blog here and learn more of your story. You have adorable children and what an experience to be raising them in Dubai! We look forward to taking a peek here every now and then. Hope all is well!

  2. Jennifer,
We have some friends moving to Daubi so I have become very interested in life over there. My sister, Laura J sent me your blog!

Your tomatoes look lovely - we have a tough time with a good tomato crop in Western NE!
